OUR FOUNDATION
Educate A Cure was founded in response to a global health crisis. Each year over 300 million people are affected by illness, 10.8 million are diagnosed with cancer, and to date 650 million people worldwide are living with a disability. While prompt and accurate treatment is available in most developed countries with corresponding cure rates, people in resource poor countries are at a higher risk of disease, illness, and disability, with a lower rate of survival, and statistics mask millions who go completely undiagnosed.
OUR COMMITMENT
Communities the world over are experiencing alarming increases in rates of disease, and death from disease. Eliminating chronic poor health requires a strong, sustained global commitment. As poor nutrition continues to be a rising epidemic, Educate A Cure will listen and respond to nutritional needs, and work to make a difference where the impact is most profound. We will help identify and determine which environmental factors pose the greatest health risk, penetrating these areas with targeted educational information.
OUR FOCUS
Our focus includes removing fear and complacency; equipping individuals with tools to take charge of their own health. Globally, we will educate developing countries who have limited understanding of disease, risks, and outcomes, as well as when and where to seek treatment. Safeguarding health through education is a sustainable solution to the challenges; bringing hope in spite of distance, geography, or social barriers. We aim to enhance individual culture’s understanding of the unique challenges disease, illness, and disability bring to a family, and help break the isolation and overcome the misconceptions surrounding each.
OUR GOAL
By collaborating with physicians, researchers, organizations, U.S. Military personnel, and community leaders, the information will be pertinent, targeted, appropriately dispersed, and easily implemented.
Educate A Cure envisions a world where disease is prevented and cured through education.
